Before your journey from Chiang Rai to Pak Beng, you will be picked up at (5:00 – 5:30 AM) from your hotel in Chiang Rai and transfered to Chiang Khong, around (7:30 AM) you will arrive at the Thailand- Laos for immigration stamping, around (8:00 AM) you will cross into Laos by bus, with the assistance of our team you will be completing your visa on arrival.
(8:30 AM) We will be visiting our Huay Xai office where you can buy a SIM card card, exchange any money or grab any snacks while you wait, while you wait you can will be getting a complimentary lunch box ( Vegetarian options available).
(9:00 AM) Get ready to transfer to the slow boat pier and begin your journey down the Mekong River, (4:00 – 5:00 PM) Arrive in Pak Beng,a riverside town where you can stay overnight (accommodation not included).
